A curious mind.
A builder at heart.
I’m Alexander Ververis. Most people online know me as ak5.
I love making things. AI is a powerful addition to my toolkit, and I’m a big fan of what it makes possible. I tend to try new tools early, take them apart, and find out what I can build with them. That curiosity rarely stays in one lane.
Crypto interests me for the questions it raises about ownership and incentives—and how much control we have over the systems we use.
I love humans, too. Psychology and spirituality matter to me: how we think, what moves us, and how we make sense of being here.
That curiosity about people also draws me to marketing: how ideas reach us, what earns our attention, and why something resonates. I like following the connections, wherever they lead.
Mastery of technology is agency.
I like understanding how things work—from the implementation details to the people using them. Sometimes that means writing code. Sometimes it means questioning the premise, finding a simpler approach, or helping someone else see what’s possible.
Understanding your tools gives you more room to act. I want to help people build that understanding, whether we’re working through a tiny technical detail or deciding what to do next.
That’s also why I lead Technomancers Guild: a place to learn together, share what we discover, and help each other build. I want more people to feel capable of making things happen with technology.
Daily Drivers.

An agent for ongoing work.
An open-source agent from Nous Research with memory, tools, and reusable skills.
Codex CLI
Coding from the terminal.
OpenAI’s coding agent for working with code and running commands in a project.
Claude Code
Another pair of hands in the code.
Anthropic’s coding agent, with a CLI for exploring, editing, and testing projects.
OpenCode
Coding with a choice of models.
An open-source coding agent with a terminal interface and support for multiple model providers.
Useful tools.
nice
Tell your agent to be nice.
Run heavy jobs with nice -n 10 so other work gets CPU priority. It lowers scheduling priority; it does not cap CPU use or memory.
Pixelmatch
Visual checks for frontend refactors.
Compare before-and-after screenshots pixel by pixel to spot unintended visual changes.
ripgrep (rg)
Find things in a codebase.
Fast text search across files, with regular expressions and respect for gitignore rules.
Work with me.
Bring me a hard question, an ambitious build, or a team that needs technical direction.
Technical consulting
Architecture, a second opinion, or hands-on help with a difficult problem. I’m comfortable moving between the implementation and the bigger picture.
Building with AI
Turn an idea into something you can use. Agent tooling, automation, prototypes, and the infrastructure that makes them work.
Interim CTO
Technical direction and hands-on leadership while you build, grow, or navigate a transition. Work through the decisions with someone who can also get into the code.
